Barbara Jean Lewis Tolliver was born on January 29, 1950 in Exmore, Virginia.  Her parents were Charlie and Dorothy Sample Lewis.  Barbara met and married Ruell Tolliver in 1966 and he preceded her in death in 2016 after 50 years of love and devotion.  They lived many years in New York where Barbara worked and a private duty nurse.  In 2018 Barbara relocated to Orlando, FL to be closer to family and friends.  She was a member of the Firstborn Church of Apopka, FL, under the leadership of Pastor Charles Lewis.

Barbara Jean Tolliver departed this life on Sunday, June 29, 2025 at the age of 75.  Left to cherish her memory are her 8 children, 29 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers, and host of other family and friends.

A Memorial service will be held  at 2pm, on Thursday, July 3, 2025, Ball's Temple First Born Church of the Living God, 1977 Bruton Blvd., Orlando, FL  32805.
