Mr. Basil Anthony Jones, 79 of Debary, Florida, passed on February 3, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. He was born to Ina Rubina Brooks and Sutcliffe Osbourne Jones in the district of Auchtembeddie, Manchester Jamaica on May 16th, 1944. After attending Excelsior high school in Kingston, Jamaica, Basil obtained his BS in Accounting from University of West Indies. His love of education continued and he earned his MBA degree from American University in Washington D.C. He owned and operated American Security Mortgage company.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Feb. 17th, 2024 10am-11am at the Door of Light Church of God, 425 Geneva Drive, Oviedo, FL. Service will follow starting at 11am.
