Brenda Ruth March was born on November 30,1963 in Orlando, FL to Mr. Uzella Gray, aka Daddy Gray, and Mrs. Willie Mae Oliver-Gray. She graduated from Evans High School, Valencia College, University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in English, and completed training at the Kettering Foundation for Public Policy.

Brenda loved children and this was reflected in her lifelong career choices that supported and enhanced the personal, social, and academic development of children, their families, and the communities where they lived. She was an employee of the City of Orlando for 30+years. During this time her work included, Planning and Development, Neighborhood Services, Community and Youth Services, the City of Orlando Mayor's Office, Parks and Recreation, and the management of Children and Education - - Paramore Kidz Zone, just to name a few.  Highlights of her community involvement included Steinway Foundation, ONYX Magazine Advisory Committee, and the Orlando Minority Youth Golf Association.

Brenda was married over 40 years to Mr. Charles March, Jr. and they were blessed with 3 gifts:  Toushe' C. Hinton, Joel J. March, and Jeremy Z March.

After a life very well spent, Brenda Ruth March departed on Thursday, November 27, 2025, just 3 days before her 62nd birthday. She is greatly missed by her family, many friends, and community associates.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, 11am, at the Majestic Life Church (majesticlifechurch.com), 8215 Kirkman Road, Orlando, FL 32811.  Visitation will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025, 4-6pm, St. Mark AME Church, 1968 Bruton Boulevard, Orlando, FL 32805.
