Cedric was born to Adolphus and Lexie Owens in Sanford, FL.  He was baptized at Allen Chapel in Sanford, FL at an early age.

Cedric and family moved to St. Louis, MO in 1992 where he had been residing since.  Cedric recommitted his life and joined Ward Chapel AME Church in St. Louis under the leadership of Ann O. McDonald.

Cedric graduated from Eureka Sr. High School in 2005 where he was a champion athlete In his senior year, he received the Andy Bedo Award.  He accepted a scholarship to CDE College where he graduated majoring in Psychology.

He was an outstanding employee and union rep, where he came in the room you knew you were going to have a good time with a big smile.

He leaves in mourning his parents, Adolphus and Lexie Owens, fiance, Byanka Romero, Sister, Karen (Ashley) Gassoway (Ashanti, Chris Cristionna, Kamron, Kamauri, Kalena and Asha) Mary Whitehead (Quintaryis, Lauren and Journey)Sabie Owens (Alexus) Jocelyn Owens and brother, Grayson Owens, Daughters, Elissa Owens and Leilani Sallis.  Special Son, Hunter Morrison, Grandmother, Lavivian Brown and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and nieces and nephews.  Special Brothers for life, Eric Foster, Patrick Brown, Michael Shead, Andre Davis, Sean Reed, Travis Baker, Matthew Washington and Craig Smith.  Special Sister: Rahnika (Antonio) Jones, Rhonda Ramsey, Ronisha Ramsey-Reeves. Host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss him.
