Clifton Louis Wilson was born to the late Charles Aubrey Wilson and Marguerite Carpenter Wilson on September 24, 1953 in Little Rock, Arkansas. During his adult life, Clifton professed Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was a faithful and committed servant until his life journey came to end on Tuesday, September 18, 2018.

Jesus Christ was the Author and Finisher of his faith; and his life centered in love, peace, and joy.

Cliff was preceded in death by his sister, Jarretta Marie Wilson Strickland; brother, Habeebullah T. Akbar; and sister, Jessye Margarite Wilson Ruffin.

Cliff leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted family: his wife, Belinda McClain Wilson; daughter, Sandi Marie Requena; son, Jeremy McClain Wilson; 3 granddaughters: Jordyn Li McClain Requena, Adalina Nicole Wilson, and Aaliyah Jude Wilson; 3 siblings: Julie Mae, Joyce Marilyn, and Clinton Travis Wilson; nieces and nephews: Keith McDonald (Nykole, Kaitlynn, and Kameryn), Robert Jackson, III (Heather and Joseph), Angela Harper (Tion, Cross, Harley, and Kanaan), Robin Dyer (Arthur, Londyn, and Layton), and David Strickland (Brandi)
