Daisy Mae Orr was the youngest daughter of David and Jonell Terrell Orr. She was born on November 5, 1939 in Ashburn, Georgia (Turner County). The family migrated to Orlando, Florida in 1955.

At an early age, she accepted Christ in her life when she and the Orr family started affiliation with the Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of the late Reverend H. L. Bradley.

Later, she gave birth to three sons, Rickey Ronald Orr, Van Geronimo Johnson and Patrick Milton Johnson.

She worked for Morrison Cafeteria, the Hair Salon of Eva Belle Brown and finally for the late Dr. Richard Hellinger and his family for over 40 years.

The Lord in His infinite wisdom deemed it timely to call our beloved Daisy Mae Orr to her eternal resting place on April 10, 2021 at 10:30 p.m. in Humble, Texas.

Daisy Mae was preceded in death by her parents, David and Jonell Terrell Orr.

She leaves to cherish precious memories to her children: Rickey Ronald Orr (Leslie), Van Geronimo Johnson (Monica) and Patrick Milton Johnson; nine grandchildren: thirteen great-grandchildren: three sisters: Jessie Mae, Emily Jean and April; two brothers: Eugene and David, Jr.; a host of nephews, nieces; cousins other relatives and sorrowing friends.
