Della Wease Turner was born on March 17, 1939 to the late John and Pauline Childs of Unadilla. GA.  She was preceded om death by a brother, Paul Childs  and sisters Evelyn Newsome and Juanita Childs-Hughes.  Mother Turner received her education through Dooly County public schools.  She was married to the late Ray Turner for 62 wonderful years, and to this union two son were born:  Kenneth Ray and David Keith.  Mother Turner

confessed her faith in Christ Jesus in her early adulthood and joined Carter Tabernacle CME Church. She later joined Washington Park Church of God where she served faithfully as a Sunday School teacher and sang in the choir.  In her Golden years, she worship at Malone Memorial Church of God in Christ where she was a Church Mother and Sunday school teacher until her health declined.

Left to cherish her loving memoires are her loving sons:  Kenneth Ray (Ella) and David Keith.  Grandchildren:  Darious, Jarvis, Tawanna, Cornelius and Victor.  A host of great grandchildren.  Siblings: Johnnie Mae Echoles, Elowes, both of Orlando, FL Dr. Mildred Henderson (Robert), Macon, GA Robert Childs, Unadilla, GA. Aunt: Louise Linkhorne, Uncle: Rev. Edward Childs and his wife Carrie.
