Doris Eleanor Gordon of Sanford. Florida was born on September 27, 1942to John and Albertha Powell in Crescent City, Florida. She graduated as her class Valedictorian and retired after 30 years with the Miami Herald. She served as a Deaconess at The Hope Church in Orlando, and spent many years volunteering at Midway Elementary and the Midway Safe Harbor. She lived her life serving others.

Sis Gordon was loved by many, and will be missed by all who knew and loved her to include: her loving daughter, Adrienne Fuller, Grandson, Adrian (Jania) Fuller, Jr., 2 Great Grandsons, Siblings, Larry, Beverly, Debra and Pamela, and a host of other relatives and  many sorrowing friends.
