Essie L. Brown, born on May 30, 1953, in Norman Park, Georgia, passed away on October 14, 2026, in Orlando, Florida.

Essie’s life was marked by care for others and dedication to her community. She graduated from Jones High School in Orlando, Florida, and went on to serve as an in-home child care provider. Through that work, she offered steady guidance, kindness, and support to the children and families whose lives she touched. Her care for others was at the heart of her life’s work and will be remembered with gratitude by those who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Essie at a viewing on Thursday, October 29, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Harvest Baptist Church, 514 South Parramore Avenue, Orlando, Florida 32805. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., also at Harvest Baptist Church.
