Mrs. Ethel Burkes, 73, a native of Shellman, Georgia, was born on April 1, 1952 to Pearlie Mae Daniels and Willie Lee Howard.  She was a Certified Nursing Assistant and was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, Orlando, FL.  Mrs. Burkes departed to rest on Sunday, February 22, 2026 leaving family and friends who dearly miss her.

A Farewell Celebration will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026,  12 Noon, at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 654 West Anderson Street, Orlando, FL  32805 with a visitation at 11am. The burial will follow the service at Eatonville Memorial Gardens, Eatonville, FL.
