Eugene McMillon (Mr. Gene), was born on October 30, 1928, he was the third of five children. Eugene received his basic education in segregated Gadsden County Schools, then enlisted in the United States Army in 1951, during the Korean conflict.
He met his late wife Willie Bell Clardy. They were married in November 1955 and remain married until her transition February 28, 1982.
Eugene was a hardworking man who loved and provided well for his family. His favorite hobbies were cooking, fishing, and watching sports. No one could Barbeque better than Mr. Gene!
Preceded in death was his mother and father Eddie and Frances McMillan. His wife, Willie Bell Clardy-McMillon and their sons, Donald and Michael McMillon, Jessie Melvin, and Lawrence Milton Ogburn, one daughter Harriet Mitchell. His brothers Horace, Edward and Lonnie McMillan and sister Louise McMillan-Thomas.
Left to cherish his memories is Alfred Eugene McMillon (Barbara) of Fowlstown, GA., Ronald McMillon (Beverly) of Rochester, NY. Anita McMillon-Davis (Donald) of Bainbridge, GA., Charles McMillon, Sr (Sharon), Tylisa Chapman-Thomas of Chattahoochee, FL., Yolanda McMillon-Baker (Lamarcus) of Chattahoochee, FL. Daughter-in-Love, Phyllis McMillon of Detroit, MI.
Special Nephew-Son Ronnie McMillon of Chattahoochee, FL.
Derrick Price (Amelia)Foster Son and loving Companion Ms. Louise Shackleford of Quincy, Florida.
Twenty-seven grandchildren, Fifty-two great grandchildren, Five great-great grandchildren. A host of nieces and nephews.
