The Sun rose on Eva C. Jackson on April 5, 1939 in Jasper, FL born to the late John C. Smith and Ruth Lang. She attended JRE Lee Hamilton County public schools. She would tell stories about her life in Jasper and how she never liked to wear shoes (Saddie Oxfords) as a child and how "Mother" would crowd their home after purchasing hundreds of "Biddies: (baby chickens), which they raised.
In the 1960s, she relocated to Sanford, FL along with her daughter Myra T. Hall and son Harry Corbett (preceded in death.) Eva met Eddie Lee "Bubba" Jackson, who became the love of her life, a lifetime of love and dedication for nearly 50 years between Eva and Eddie began June 16, 1972.
She began a 30 plus year career with General Dynamics, later named Stromberg-Carlson, a division of Siemen's. Eva eventually retired from Siemen's, but she would of how she one day woke up early in the morning preparing for work. She loved to shop and found joy in caring for others, especially children and took on the role of "Grandma Jackson" with Guardian as Litem for Seminole County. She was a dedicated member of Allen Chapel AME Church, where she served on the Usher Board, Senior Ministry, Mass Choir and as a Trustee.
Eva transitioned on the morning of May 25, 2022, surrounded by loved ones and caregivers. She leaves behind a host of family and friends to cherish her memories: Loving Spouse, Eddie Lee Jackson, Daughter, Myra Hall, Godson, Pernell Bush, Brother, Garland (Sheryl) Powders, Sister, Ruby Smith, Brother-in-law , Rev.
