Freddie O'Neal Carroll, affectionately known to family and friends as "Ice Man," was born on April 21, 1962, in Winter Garden, Florida, to the late Maggie Jane Carroll and August Julius Carroll. On June 9, 2026, Freddie peacefully departed this earthly life and entered into eternal rest with the Lord.

Freddie was a proud lifelong resident of the Winter Garden community and dedicated many years of service to the City of Winter Garden. He was known for his hardworking spirit, kind heart, and willingness to lend a helping hand whenever it was needed.

Freddie enjoyed life to the fullest. He had a passion for football, basketball, cars, animals, cooking and barbecuing, swimming, and spending quality time with family and friends. He was an avid supporter of the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Orlando Magic, cheering on his favorite teams with enthusiasm. Whether he was grilling for a family gathering, sharing stories with friends, or simply bringing people together, Freddie had a gift for making everyone feel welcome.

Above all, Freddie treasured his family. His love, wisdom, humor, and presence created memories that will be cherished for generations. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and togetherness that will continue to inspire all who knew him.

There will be a visitation at New Inspiration Missionary Baptist Church, 617 South Lakeview Ave., Winter Garden, FL 34787, on June 26, 2026, at 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Funeral service on June 27, 2026, at 11:00 A.M., at New Inspiration Missionary Baptist Church.
