Horace Campbell was born in Etowah County, Alabama, on February 9, 1935 to Lucille Curry and James Campbell.

He moved to Orlando in the late 1950s where he held various jobs, including working at Orlando's Historic Carver Theater. He was a longtime friend and member of the Milton and Sutton families. He was known by many as a kind-hearted person who would give you the shirt off his back if it would help.

Horace passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2019. He leaves to mourn his passing from the Milton Family: Minnie Milton, her daughters Tongelia Milton, April Milton, Shantra Milton, Patrice Milton Chatelain (Hubermann), and granddaughters Brandi Milton, Precious Joseph, Jetia Julmis, Aubrey Milton; and from the Sutton Family: GW and Laverne Sutton, and their sons Tony (Ireland), Terry and Taras Sutton; as well as other friends.
