Edna Joyce Rodwell ~ Known lovingly as "Joyce" was born on March 10, 1948, in Manhattan, New York to Ellwood Rodwell and Sadie Woods.  Joyce grew up between an older sister, Sharon and a younger brother, Al Jr.  She often found her own path, fueled by a curious mind, a joyful spirit and an imagination as vivid as her laughter.

Joyce had a light that drew others in from the start.  Her father lovingly called her "Monk", a nickname that captured her boundless energy, she brought into every room.  Joyce always radiated life.

Joyce became a teacher, mentor, healer and a beacon for many.  Her love was unconditional, and her compassion came without judgement.  She is survived by her husband, Leon Miller, Jr., Daughter, Tracey Morrow, grandsons, Caleb and Jaron Marrow, Mother-in-law, Lerosa Miller, Sisters-in-law Julia Vickers and Rose (Leroy) Thomas as well as a global community of family, friends, clients and loved ones whose lives were made brighter by knowing her.
