Katherine M. Gordon, 85, was born in Sanford, FL on November 28, 1937 to Jerdon D. Marshall, Sr. and Mary Marshall.  She spent all of her childhood and part of her adult life as a resident in Chicago, Illinois but later returned to Sanford, FL.  Katherine was one of four children and was preceded in death by her sister, Ruthie Mae Haynes, and brothers, Oscar L. Williams and Jerdon D. Marshall, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memory:  daughter, Sandra Lanier (Michael) Sanford, grandson Michael L. Lanier, Jr., of Seattle, WA, granddaughter, Kayla Lanier of Woodbridge, VA, great-granddaughter, Kennedi Lanier, Sanford, FL, nieces, Machelle Haynes Daniels, Diane Fossitt; nephews Mike Levant (Cookie), William "Ricky" Taylor, Maurice Holloway (Tina), and Oscar J. Gibson.

Katherine was loved and will be missed by many.
