Mary Alice Hawkins was born in Sanford, FL On May 12, 1960.  Her mother was the late Catherine Hawkins.  She graduated from Seminole High School.  Her career was Early Childhood Education where she taught babies and children.  Mary was a member of New Salem Primitive Baptist Church in Sanford where she sang in the choir. She was very well known in the Sanford community and was much loved.  She departed this life on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at HCA  Hospital at Lake Monroe, FL with her daughters by her side.

Left to cherish her memory are: her children, Sabrina Hawkins - Whipper (Corey), Tonya Hawkins - Selby (Roy), and Craig Hawkins, Sr.; Siblings, Starlene Myers, Harold Hawkins, Prince Myers, Ronnie Flemming, and Ezell Lynch; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family, and sorrowing friends..
