Mary Joyce Sayles was born in Macon, GA on April 19, 1945, to the late Alonzo Allen Sr and the late Mattie Mae Walker. She was preceded in death by her husband Billy Sayles.

She moved to Winter Garden, Florida at the age of 9.  She attended Oakland Elem. School and moved on to graduate from Charles R. Drew High School.  She was known by all as Joyce.  She was a faithful member of Mt. Zion AME Church for over 25 years in Oakland, FL. She loved serving on the Usher Board until her health declined.  She was known as "Ma" in the community where she resided.

On Saturday, July 28th at 3:58pm, she transitioned peacefully from this earthly life and went to be with the Lord.  The life she lived and memories she made will forever be honored by her children:  Teresa, Deborah and Bonita (Willie). Siblings: Cyril Jr. (Angela), Cheryl (Richard), Vincent and Calivin (Lena).
