Mrs. Mattie Sistrunk Carr, a widow, was born on February 15,1935 in Camp Hill, AL.  Her parents were Roosevelt Sistrunk and Mardena Sims.  She was a daycare worker and was a Foster Parent for many years with the Department of Children and Families.  Mrs. Carr was a dedicated and loyal Mother of Ball's Temple Church for many years. She passed on Saturday, December 6, 2025 and is deeply missed by her family and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, 11am, at Ball's Temple First Born Church, 1977 Bruton Boulevard, Orlando, FL  32805 and visitation on Friday, December 19, 2025, 4-6pm at Gail and Wynn's Chapel, 1300 Bruton Boulevard, Orlando, FL  32805.
