Michael A. Wynn was born in Sanford, Fl on May 12, 1965 to Beatrice Wynn and James (Bill) Williams.  He was the first of his Mother's five children.  Since early childhood he was a member of the Allen Chapel AME Church.  Mike transitioned from this life on Sunday, June 30, 2024 in Orange City, FL. He will be remembered as a good natured, good humored, long winded and devoted family man and friend.  Everyone who knew Mike knows he was a humorous, reliable and sincere person who was simply the "salt of the earth".

Michael grew up in the Goldsboro Community of Sanford.  As a member of the Wynn family, he was one of several Michael Wynn's. He made his career with the City of Sanford, as a Maintenance Worker I in the Public Works Dept.  After a series of promotions and advancements, he became a Lift Station Operator.  After his health failed in November 2023, Mike grudgingly retired with 36 years of dedicated service to the City of Sanford.

Mike was preceded in death by his beloved mother Beatrice Wynn, his father Bill Williams and his brother Stewart Byrd.  He leaves to cherish his life and legacy:  Daughter Latoya Wynn and Son Michael A. Wynn, Jr. both of Sanford, FL.  Granddaughters Te"Leah Jones and Te'Yana Jones both of Sanford:. Brothers: Raydon Byrd and Kevin L. Wynn both of Sanford and Anthony (Tina) Williams of Orlando; Sisters:  Denise Byrd of Cummings, GA, Sharonda Wynn (Raymond) Thomas of Madison, FL, Jackie Byrd, Beverly Byrd and Karen R. Wynn all of Sanford and Erika Wynn of Valdosta, GA.  Mike is survived by a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nephews, Nieces, Cousins and friends.
