Paulette Smith was born on August 26, 1949 in Opa-Locka, Florida.  Her parents were Robert Lee Logan and Thelma Daniels.  The family migrated to New Jersey where she graduated from Teaneck High School.

Upon returning to Florida, Paulette settled in the Orlando Area.  Here she completed her training as a Medical Technician specializing in Pathology.  She was employed by Derrick and Associates Laboratory, now known as Quest.  She was also employed by Winter Garden Community Health Center where she retired as Business Manager.

In 1989, on her birthday, Paulette married Mr. Frank Smith, Sr., who is now retired from the Orlando Police Department.  Their blended  family embraced three children, her daughter and his two sons.

After a life very well spent, Paulette departed this life on Friday, November 28, 2025.  She is greatly missed by her family and many sorrowing friends.

A Homegoing Celebration will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, 10am, at The Way Church (Orlando Metro West Church of the Nazarene), 3705 N. Apopka Vineland Road, Orlando, FL 32818.  Visitation will begin at 9am.
