Robert was born in Palatka, Florida to his proud parents, Ida Mae Gardner and Robert Leverett. He worked in construction, and as a cook. Robert was loved by many, nationwide, and his big heart will be missed by all that knew and loved him to include his siblings: Doris. Fazier, Billy (Annie) Leverett, Rose  Leverett, Cotilda (Alvin) Lamb, James (Sonya) Gardner, Patrick Gardner and Belinda (Tommy) Jacob.
