Mrs. Ruth Mae Jenkins Taylor was born on July 22, 1937 in Lawtey, Florida.  Her parents were Willie and Eva Redic Jenkins.  She graduated from Valencia Community College with a degree in education.  She retired after 35 years as a Head Start Teacher.

Ruth was married to Mr. Lavern Taylor who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Taylor was the founder and operator of Sister to Sister Women's Ministry Outreach for over 25 years.  She loved to travel, shop, and spend time with family and at church.  She was the mother of 4 girls (Lucille, Sabrina, Leshawn, and Tashia) and one son (Anthony).  She also raised 2 other girls, Retha and Abigail.

Mrs Ruth Taylor departed this life on Thursday, February 27, 2025.
