Truby Walden was born in Sanford, FL on July 11, 1947 to James and Vivian Walden.  He attended Jones high school for 2 years, "Go you mighty Tiger" and later transferred to Crooms high school graduating with the class of 1964.  He attended FAMU and was a member of the Marching 100 Band, percussion section.  He served his country and joined the US Army receiving an honorable discharge.  Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 16years, Cynthia and his son Andre Johnson.
