Rev. William G. Thomas, Sr. was born on January 22, 1945 in Dawson, Georgia. His parents were Oscar Thomas and Hattie Bell Holt. He served honorably in the US Army and is a Vietnam Veteran. Rev. Thomas was an educator with the Orange County Public Schools.
He departed this life on Sunday, July 20, 2025. Final services will be held at 11am on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at St. Mark AME Church. Visitation will be on Friday, August 1, 2025, 4-6pm, at the Gail and Wynn's Chapel, 1300 Bruton Boulevard, Orlando, FL 32805.
