William Henry Wright "Tiger Bill" was born July 12, 1948, in Sanford, Florida to the late Fannie Hagins and Wesley Wright.

He was preceded in death by sister; Margaret Cody and brothers; Eddie Wright, Melvin Wright and Willie Wright.

William attended Crooms High School. He received a degree in Broadcasting in Nashville Tennessee. He then enlisted in the United States Army. He served for 24 years, retiring with the rank of First Sergeant. William also worked at Father Flanagan as a ROTC instructor. When Flanagan closed, he continued to work for Boys Town as a Parenting Counselor. He retired from OPS as a Security Guard.

He was a faithful member of Prince of Peace Baptist Church and was also a faithful member of the Elks Iroquois Lodge #92.

In 2009 William united in marriage with Patricia (Collins) Wright.

William leaves to cherish his memories; his loving wife Patricia Collins-Wright, daughters; Donna Dantzler of Sanford, Florida, Tanesha Collins and Tyechia Barnett of Omaha, Nebraska, Sons: William Wright, Jr. of Sanford Florida, Cornell Collins (Karen) and Yano Collins of Omaha, Nebraska, Brother; Robert Smith (Jackie) of Daytona Beach, Florida, Brother-in-laws; Bobby Collins of Illinois. Gregory Collins of Omaha, Nebraska, Sister-in-laws: Janice Collins, Cynthia Collins, Kimberly Onyekwere all of Omaha, Nebraska, and many other loving family and friends.
